Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has used the Global Hospital in Shollinganallur (off OMR)?

We were told that all the expats go to Apollo Hospital in Kotturpuram for their specialists (e.g. Pediatrician, OB Gyn etc) as well as GPs, Dentists etc.

Yes the Apollo has excellent facilites but we were wondering about Global as that would be much closer to where we are going to live.

Also if anyone has recommendations for a good GP, Dentist, Pediatrician and OB Gyn at Global, please share.

Apollo's Kotturpuram establishment is a clinic, and it specialises in female matters. They have [at least] two large hospitals on Anna Salai and Greams Road [etc? It seems to be an ever-growing concern!]

I know nothing about Global.

For better care always visit hospitals in city, they are well established and has good doctors, in fact chennai is the city in india with the best doctors will find in the country. Avoid the hospitals in OMR road I have'nt of this, it must be something really new, you use it for emergency purpose, for proper care always switch to a one within the city, look for hopitals in mylapore, t nagar, adyar, thiruvanmiyur, kilpauk, royepettah, anna nagar these are old/wealthy areas and in the hospitals in these area will be good.
