My five year old has severe nut allergies (leading to anaphylaxsis). Most of the schools in Bangaore I have spoken to said they will not administer the oral meds like Benadryl or Epipen injection incase of a reaction. They said they would inform me in case he gets a reaction at school. Some schools flatly denied admission for him based on his reports. He has severe peanut and tree nuts allergies. Is anyone in a similar situation? Anyone know how to find a good pediatric immunologist, a well quipped emergency care for allergy related cases and ofcourse a good school where I can send him without any worries? Any help is really appreciated.
