Definitely. I have booked The Habitat. I believe Cafe Shillong is in stone throw distance. Will visit other places also.
Can you please also suggest what all places I should visit while traveling from Shillong to Cherapunji. And what all sightseeing I should do while my whole day stay in Cherra.
On last day my flight is at 7.30 pm from Guwahati. So shall I plan anything on that day?

The Habitat is a good choice.

Apart from Shillong Cafe, you can also check out Living Roof Cafe, Mellow Mood Cafe, Poinisuk Lounge, DeJa Vu, apart from other restaurants in that area. These ones play live music some days in the week.

In between Shillong and Sohra, you can check out Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls, Airforce Museum, Mawkdok Dympep valley viewpoint and Garden of Caves.

In Sohra, the places more popular with tourists are the following:
Mawsmai Cave
Nohkalikai Falls
Nohsngithiang Falls
Khoh Ramhah Rock
Kharmih Park
Sa-I-Mika Park
Eco Park
Thangkharang Park
Kynrem Falls
Dain-Thlen Falls
Nongsawlia Church and cemetery
Ka Kper Syiem Sohra
Wah Kaba Falls
Arwah Cave
Kutmadan
Sohra Golf driving range
Ram Krishna Mission
Sohra local market

Other places in Sohra are a little offbeat.

Finally the day has come nearer. We start our journey on 23rd Dec. Do we need to carry raincoat or umbrella with us during that time ?

Hi All,

Had a good trip. Special thanks to Karikor for his guidance. Would like to mention few bullet points about the trip.

1. As suggested by Karikor I should have avoided Cherra Holiday Resort as double decker root bridge was not in my plan. Even that resort does not worth the high cost that they are taking.
2. I liked Arwah cave a lot among other places. This cave should not be missed. Few other places that I liked a lot are Nohkalikai Falls, Dain-Thlen Falls, Khoh Ramhah Rock
3. The Habitat hotel in Shillong was a good choice even though they don't provide any view. Rooms are clean and offer good food.
4. Enjoyed good food at Cafe Shillong.
5. As suggested by karikor one night was enough in Shillong. I went for two and that was not required at all.
6. Lobved Mapple Pine Farm.Stayed one night there and it was a good experience.
7. Will visit again very soon but this time during monsoon.

Thanks again.
