It looks good with some modifications-

Make the route in this manner -

Pobitora - Jowai - Krangshuri - Shnongpdeng/Dawki - Sohra - Mawphlang - Mawphanlur - Shillong - Guwahati.

Rearranged the day-wise itinerary. So, it would look like this, right?

Day 1 – Guwahati to Pobitora (Halt)

Day 2 – Pobitora to Jowai (Halt);

En route – Tyrshi falls, Nartiang, and if time permits - Ever Living Museum and Sweet falls

Day 3 – Jowait to Thlu Amwi Falls to Krangshuri Falls to Shnongpdeng/Dawki to Sohra (Halt);

if time permits, Mawlynnong and Riwai on the way

Day 4 – In and around Sohra (Halt)

Nokhalikhai Falls, Arwah and Mawsmai Caves, Seven Sister falls, Thangkarang Park, Dainthlen Falls, Weisawdong Falls and Garden of caves

Day 5 – Sohra to Mawphlang - Mawphanlur - Shillong (Halt);

if time permits, Kyllang Rock

Day 6 – In and around Shillong (Halt)

Don Bosco Museum, All Saints Cathedral, Shillong peak, Ward’s Lake, Lady Hydari Park, Air Force Museum

Day 7 – In and around Shillong (Halt);

Laitlum Canyons and whatever is left from Day 6

Day 8 – Shillong to Guwahati;

en route Nongpoh and Margnar Lake, if time permits, Umden silk village

--------------

In this case, which is a good time to visit Mawkdok Dympep valley? Also, I'm a bit confused. On the map, I see it marked at 2 places, one very close to Sohra, the other much closer to Shillong. Are there 2 places with the same name or are there 2 approaches to the valley?

Also, which is a good day to cover Laitlum Canyons in this case?

Day 4 seems a bit heavy to me. Is it all doable in one day?

Thanks.

So, here goes:

Day 1 – Guwahati to Pobitora (Halt)

Day 2 – Pobitora to Jowai (Halt);

Via Shillong Bypass road – Tyrshi falls, Nartiang, Ialong Park, Syntu Ksiar river

Day 3 – Jowait to Thlu Amwi Falls to Krangshuri Falls to Shnongpdeng/Dawki to Sohra (Halt); (This is the longest day for you; if it rains skip Shnongpdeng)

if time permits, Mawlynnong and Riwai on the way (if no traffic while entering Mawlynnong) and Mawryngkhang Rock

Day 4 – In and around Sohra (Halt)

Nokhalikhai Falls, Arwah and Mawsmai Caves, Seven Sister falls, Thangkarang Park, Dainthlen Falls, Weisawdong Falls and Garden of caves and Khoh Ramhah rock

Most of these places are in a straight line.

Day 5 – Sohra to Mawphlang - Mawphanlur - Shillong (Halt);

if time permits, Kyllang Rock

Day 6 – In and around Shillong (Halt)

Don Bosco Museum, All Saints Cathedral, Shillong peak, Ward’s Lake, Lady Hydari Park, Air Force Museum and cafe hopping in the evening.

Day 7 – In and around Shillong (Halt);

Laitlum Canyons, Smit, Rapleng peak, Ever Living Museum and Sweet falls and Wahrashi falls (if its been raining the past few days)

Day 8 – Shillong to Guwahati;

en route Nongpoh and Margnar Lake, if time permits, Umden silk village

Mawkdok Dympep Valley is the entry point to SOhra located right between Shillong and Sohra. You will pass it on Day 3 & Day 5
