Hi all

I am looking in to working in India and my partner will be joining me, she may not be working (which is very likely).

It was pointed out to me that she may only get a tourist visa with stays limited to 180 days - can any of you advise if this is correct and if so is there any way we can get a visa for her where she would not be restricted?

Many thanks

Jon

The advice you got is correct. However married couples can get a co-terminus E(ntry) Visa. for the non-working spouse

Raise it as a stumbling block with Escorts or Suzuki/Maruti and see what they come up with...

It is with a global company called MSX International and connected to Ford - from what you are saying it is worth raising it with them as they may have some clout also??

Thanks

By all means. Depending on how high they are in the food chain, people have gotten the sun, the moon and the sky.
