I am an Indian and want to marry a Ukranian Girl

Hi all,
I have by now read many posts on Indian and Foreigner marriage. Please read my story also and advise me .
I am a permanent resident of Canada and want to marry a Ukrainian girl in India. She is a christian and I am a Hindu. She has visited India before on a tourist visa.

Now we want to get married. The questions :

a) Do we need to spend 30 days in India according to special marriages act or can we marry in a temple in one day and get the marriage registered since like a lot of other people I also may not get that many holidays.?

b) For the registration :
She needs to bring her passport , birth certificate and Certificate that she is not married ? Anything else besides this is required.

c) I understand that after marriage she can convert her Tourist visa into X visa and stay for up to 1 year. Is that correct?.

d) Last question : For her permanent residence in Canada , where will her papers be sent in India or Ukraine since she still will be a Ukrainian citizen .

Your responses are highly appreciated as they will help to unite 2 separated souls.

Get married in a third country. Caribbean Islands sound fine :) Jamaica allows quick marriages and citizens of India and Ukraine can visit Jamaica and get visa free/or visa on arrival.

I do not know if one of the person has to be present in India to file for a 30 day notice, or your parents can file on your behalf.

You can have a civil marriage anywhere, and have a religious ceremony, or two, in India later.

One can convert from T visa to X visa in India, but the procedure is not as quick.
