Hi to everyone, any help with the following question would be much appreciated. I am a UK national that is to marry an Indian national. The wedding is to take place in the state of Kerala. I seem to have been told different things regarding the certificate of no impediment.

Some information suggests it may need an apostille and others indicates it will not? The local government office in UK can offer one without an apostille and they say another process is needed in order to get one. Does anyone have information regarding this which may help? Is the apostille needed to marry in India?
