Next Saturday I have planned to go on a trek to kalsubai with my cousins..I know the trek is easy but I need help in taking taxi/cab from Kasara to Bari village...do I need to pre-book or will I get some transport at 3 AM as my train will reach Kasara around 3 AM.
If I will get some transport then it's fine but if not then any contact number of the person who can arrange for a transport from Kasara to Bari.
Next thing is that is there any food stall available after descend from the trek nearby?
I will appreciate any advice/suggestions.

An option would be reach Igatpuri by 3:30 - 4:00 am and then take a bus to Bhandardara. From Bhandardara you should get some form of transport for Bari. As far as I know there was no food stall available at Bari when I did this in the mid 90's.

During that time a couple of ladder climbs seemed difficult since it was a 90 degree climb and the rails were loose at a couple of places. There is a well which can be used for drinking water near the temple at the top. It would be better if you get some food and water along with you. We were very thirsty during our climb and descent as we did not carry any bottles with us.

Technically easy, but requires stamina. If it rains, the route becomes quite slippery. Also be vary of strong winds at the temple.

There are jeeps available at Kasara. You'll have to prebook them, since the jeeps that wait at the station for the last train would drop you only at Ghoti or Igatpuri. When booking a cab, book it for the return ride as well.

If you can make it to Igatpuri, then there's a Pune bound bus at around 5am which will drop you outside Bari in 2 hours. This is the first bus that leaves the Igatpuri bus station.

If you're relying on the bus, then you'll have to push for the trek to return to the bus stop by 3:15 to catch the bus to Kasara. The next bus is after 2 hours and is not known to be reliable.

Jeep at Kasara for Bari, Bhandardara, etc.- Deepak 08412028665. Yogesh 07875384532. These numbers were active till at-least 3 years ago when I'd used them.

There's a small shack right at the base of the topmost flight of stairs that serves delicious kanda-bhaji. There are small stalls set up by villagers along the route selling tea / lemonade / butter milk. Food is available at Bari, but better to pre-book it before starting the trek to avoid waiting times later. Tea/Poha is available at Bari village and the Bari bus stop too.

Bari is the stop before Shendi/Bhandardara, not after. The first Pune bound bus from Igatpuri will pass Bari and then Shendi.

Covered above. Bari has adequate food now for all considering the considerable footfall of trekkers and tourists alike.

The rails are still loose. Its fun though. The width of the ladders permit only one-way traffic. Be patient and considerate.

Underrated advice. Carry atleast 2l of water per person if it is raining. If it not then 3l. Carry enough munchies, candy and ORS for each person.

There were/are/will always be some taxi(yellow/black toofan) or private cabs standing outside Kasara stn all the time. There will be many trekking groups who will be heading to Igatpuri/Nashik/Bhandardara, etc for trekking, so not to worry about transportation from Kasara to Bari and beyond. You can have chai-snack break at one of those highway dhabas before Kasara ghat. Heavy rains expected this weekend, so take care and trek safe.
