@harshad

Jindal Ganpati Temple: JSW has a 1200MWatt thermal power station next to Jaigad Fort (the chimneys can be seen in Jaigad Fort 2 pic). They have built quarters for the non-local employees. Next to the quarters is this beautiful temple of Ganpati. The temple is yet to be finished, but is beautiful nevertheless. The Ganpati idol is itself 8ft. in height and made up of panch-dhatu.

Karhateshwar Temple: This old temple dedicated to Shankar is also the kuldaivat of 'Jog' families. You have to descend about 20 steps to reach the temple. The temple is located at the edge of the cliff near the Jaigad lighthouse while the still lower Gaimukh provides a breathtaking view of the waves lashing on the cliffs.

Lakshmi Keshav Temple: This Vishnu temple located near Kolisare is also the source of a small perrenial stream. The temple has an awesome setting in the middle of a forested valley.

Jaigad Fort: An old fort, now in ruins, used to keep an eye over the Jaigad Jetty. Look up on the internet for detailed history of the fort.
