Writing a Travelogue is a tough task for me, hence I decided to prepare a series of photo-travelogue.

This time it is "AJANTA"

All the pictures are taken with at most care, no where "Camera Flash" has been used (as it is prohibited).
In some places, our guide flash his torch & picture was taken.

Wow! Thanks a lot. Great pics.

I never know that those caves had such ornate carvings and beautiful frescos. I always thought they were more simple and basic with a few frescos that were faded. Must go to see someday for sure.

Very good. Reminds me of my visit there 30 years ago.
One of the "romantic" aspects of the experience was knowing that the caves were unknown, overgrown, for centuries, until rediscovered in the 1800's.
Amazing to think such art can be "lost" for hundreds of years.

Photography is not banned, only you have to ensure that you have turned off your flash. It seems the flash makes some effect to those frescoes.
