Just by chance I stumbled upon an image of The Shri Baldeoji Temple at Panna. The architecture is unconventional, to say the least.

Has anyone been there or knows more about it? I seem to draw a blank on the net.

GG,
Here's the Wikipedia entry https://sa.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/

It should be no problem reading it, I hope!

Anyways heres the entry in Hindi, it's a temple to baldau https://m.patrika.com/amp-news/jabal...panna-1380849/

And in English
http://beta.outlooktraveller.com/hot...radesh-1006213

P.s. coincidentally, saw a historical photograph of this temple at the Jawahar Kala kendra library yesterday. It was a cyanotype. Name of photographer eludes me now

Many thanks, Vaibhav. Since my last update I can't access google.co.in (or google.com or google.co.uk or goolge.fr) anymore. I am automatically redirected to google.de. So I can't easily do searches in Devanagari anymore. The Outlook link was the kind of thing I was looking for. All other sites about Panna didn't give details like year of construction. Of course 1835 would have been a lot more interesting than 1935. But still this is a curiosity worth visiting.

Before the airport at Khajuraho was built Indian Airlines used to fly Dakotas to Panna. It's still off the railway map though Samit Roychoudhury's Great Indian Railway Atlas shows a proposed line from Khajuraho to Satna via Panna.

I think the IP based Geo restriction on usage of sites and apps is ridiculous. I'm suffering as my phone connection entitles me to a complementary one year Amazon prime video membership. However Google play store detects my Google account (set up in in mid 2000s) when I was stateside as a US based account and doesn't allow downloading the app !! So am unable to avail a rather good benefit.

I finally managed to visit the place. It's stupendous and a real time-warp - few motor-vehicles, lots of bicycles. Panna reminded me of Daltonganj ca. 1965

Use a VPN. There are some free (but slow) ones, might suffice for one download.
