On Free School/Mirza Ghalib Street.
How is it? Anyone stayed here? 600Rs/night for aircon, tv, bathroom.

maybe i am a little late in replying, for the benefits of the others:
I had a real bad experience at a hotel (Hotel International) on Park Street, the place was actually a brothel. we had myriad knocks on the door, through the night. a local actually, who didn't have a clue where i was staying, said if i was staying at a hotel on park street i must answer the door. Then i narrated my incident, and he wasn't surprised!
well, it's a bitch of place!
i suggest you stay at this backpackers' paradise called 'hotel broadway'. it's bang opposite the exit of the chandni chowk metro station.
it's a real cool joint, clean beds, sparkling loos, warm service!

Yes somnath Heera International is a known name , have seen their ad. in paper, magazine also.They are also listed in the govt. apprvd list. It seems that this hotel is quite sober/decent . If such thing occured in this hotel then it is really shockening.
