Hello Ladakh Veterans !

I will be traveling to Ladakh for first time in Sept. I would like to try out various local ladakhi food items. Do you have any recommendations on this? Any details around where I can get those items would be also very useful.

Try breakfast in Dzomsa at Fort Road - Ldak Ldok or Tang Tur + Khambir bread with apricot preserve. Rather light (closer to Western than Indian breakfast) but yummy!

Personally I regret for not doing what you doing.

I was not equiped with the right information and hence could not try any tasty local food, though whatever I ate I was satisfied.

I guess I would have loved some local dishes apart from the thupka /omlet we had for most of the meals
