Friends...
I am planning a trip in second week of April 2015 to Manali with family. Kindly guide me for places where the snow is available during this period and budget hotels for stay.

You will find snow at Rohtang Pass, if Rohtang is close then on the way to Rohtang you will find snow.

What is your budget for the hotel?

Unhappy Honeymoon in Manali.. Need help to fill up missing links..

Hello everyone..

Planning my honeymoon trip in Kasol-Naggar-Manali in mid February this year.. Need some help regarding some missing links in my itinerary. Here is a quick glance through it -

15th February: Reach Delhi from Kolkata by flight around 3pm. Take overnight Volvo (HPTDC/HRTC/???)

16th February: Reach Bhunter at (?). Take a cab and reach Kasol. Night stay at Kasol.

17th February: Visit Manikaran by hiring a Cab. Night stay at Kasol.

18th February: Go to Naggar by hiring a cab. Visit nearby places. Night stay at Naggar.

19th February: May visit Jana Falls at morning(?). Take a cab and go to Manali. Night stay in Manali.

20th February: Visit Hadimba Devi Temple, Local sightseeing. Night stay in Manali.

21st February: Sightseeing in Solang Valley, Gulaba. Don't think I can go beyond that in February. Night stay in Manali.

22nd February: Return to Delhi by AC volvo (May be an overnight journey)

23rd February: Stay at Delhi.

24th February: Flight at Morning to Kolkata.

Now the missing parts.
1. The HPTDC AC Volvo starts around 6:30pm from Delhi. So, I guess it will reach Bhunter around 4-5am in the morning. How convenient is transportation at that hour of the day in February from Bhunter to reach Kasol?? Is it at all advisable as my wife will be with me!!! Any suggestion for choosing Bus from HPTDC/HRTC/other..

2. For staying I chose Naggar Castle in Naggar.. As it is a Government Hotel, I have a clear idea about its rate also. But I'm confused about Kasol and Manali. For kasol, i've heard about Sandhya Kasol, Alpine Guest house etc. In manali there are way to many for me to decide. With a range of 1500-2000/- what are my best options?? The private hotels are showing 2500-3000/- in their website. What kind of discounts in general they offer at this off season?? It would give me a very good idea.

3. How much time will it take to visit Jana Falls from Naggar? What's the transportation??

4. If I start with Manali, and end with Kasol should it be more convenient in terms of journey(Avoiding the Bhunter episode)!!!

5. Any and every suggestion about changing my itinerary(Except the starting and ending date ) will be overwhelmingly accepted as an advice..

Waiting for a reply.. Thanks in advance..

I think your plan is okay.

Take the HPTDC volvo. Check with your hotel in Kasol if they could arrange a pick up from Bhuntar.

In Manali you could consider Rohtang Manalsu.
