Hello All,

I am planning a trip to Punjab & Himachal Pradesh along with my parents in second week of January 2015. I have some doubts for which I require guidance:

1.) Can I complete road trip from Amritsar to Manikaran in one day if I leave early in the morning? I also have to stop by Beas & Kiratpur Sahib for a short period in between.

2.) What would be the road conditions this season?

3.) Can I get any reliable Cab services number I want to book Innova.

4.) What would be the cost if I book per day basis?

Please guide me with this.

You will be facing fog till late morning hence, I will suggest you to have a night stay in between.

You should check at Amritsar to find a better one.

You may night stay either at Kiratpur Sahib or Bhuntar.

If wished, you may spend a day or two at Manikaran once you reach there and visit nearby areas.
