Agrawal Movers and Packers is a very efficient Home relocation Company. In Kolkata they have office at Bartala bus stop.

They are little costly but very very good.
I did not fully understand the dread term "Terminal Illness" until I saw Terminal 1 D of Delhi Airport.

Hello has anyone used Kolkata based packers and movers recently? It seems 'Agrawal Movers and Packers' is the best one. But yes, they are very costly. There are others but in Google review they have either bad reviews or good reviews by their own employees/staff. I can tell via the same spelling mistake and formation of sentences.

Please let me know if anyone can give any information on any good packers and movers except the mentioned one. I have to transfer quite a few stuffs by April this year to Pune.
Darjeeling, Kuari Pass Winter trek, Tawang-Dirang-Bomdila

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.

Agrawal is an old and trusted brand, but way too costly for the common man to use it frequently.

When I had to use it for my friends, intrastate but long distance moving, we used the local ones and they did a decent job.

Basically it is the packing quality that proves the difference in the end. The high end ones get their own packing material and take care of the fragile stuff as well.
For the local fellas, we need to do the packing and they just transport.
Now if you are able to get someone to do the packing for you, the transport shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Hello snotty,
Yes, you are right. They are asking for 55K for transporting only handful of items to Pune from Kolkata. Which I think is way too much. What you are suggesting is also a good idea but I have to find someone. Lets see.

If anyone has any other options, please share.

Regards,
Aneek

Thanks Aarosh,

Checked with them, cost is lesser than Agrawal by a good margin. Though I am not able to find many reviews in Internet. The good thing I saw that they offer services to my hometown location where others like UrbanClap doesn't provide.

Once my Pune address is fixed then I will again talk with them. Ohh btw, they also provide coupon SKDTWENTY. Gives a decent discount.

Regards,
Aneek
