Sorry for all the threads!

I am having the most frustrating time trying to decide which company to go with for internet. I have an iPhone and want to use it as a modem rather than purchasing the USB. Airtel is by far the cheapest, but I've also heard that it is very slow.

Who are you guys with or who would you recommend? I don't want to spend more than about Rs400-500 per month at the absolute MAX.

Thanks!

MTS is supposed to be fast but coverage is poor.

Reliance Broadband speed is O.K.

Tata Photon+ gives you good speed and tey do have a plan for low usage also.
I did not fully understand the dread term "Terminal Illness" until I saw Terminal 1 D of Delhi Airport.

Is your iPhone unlocked. If it is, then go with Airtel or Vodaphone to use the iphone. If its not unlocked, then well you have to use it with your Australian connection and roaming would burn a BIG hole in your purse. Airtel and Vodaphone both uses 2G GPRS or EDGE service to provide internet. It will be slow as that's a tech limitation.

If you want higher speed, you have to go for a USB dongle and away from both airtel and vodaphone towards TATA, Reliance, MTS, BSNL etc. Decide which way first.
