Which, according to you, is the best book shop or book stall at college street in terms of collection and/or price? In my student days I found that A. M. book stall was very good in terms of discount. I used to get as much as 30% discount. For bengali books (including novels, short stories and collections) there are some stalls that used to give ~20% discounts. Share your experience, too.

I recently shopped at Bani Library, 54/7 College Street, where I found the owner helpful and knowledgeable. They have both Bengali and English books.

Whilst there we discussed the upcoming book mall, Barnaparichay, which is still under construction. He assured me that the old book shops, such as his, will not be destroyed and rehoused; the mall will provide a roof for the masses of booksellers currently displaying their wares on the footpaths (pavements) of College Street. I hope this is true.
