I would certainly go one evening to Oberoi Grand & another to Taj Bengal. Spend some time at the bar & try some of the fantastic cocktails & then head for the dinner buffet.

Park Hotel

I would definitely head to the Park Hotel. Roxy is a really nice chilled out bar, Someplace Else is a mix between an English pub/American bar, and if your there at the weekend there is a club called Tantra. In my view Roxy is the nicest bar in Kolkata though..

Park indeed!

Thanks guys! Stayed at Park and found it quite nice, though had a very tight schedule, checked in at 11 pm, had to leave for Bokaro next day at 6 am & back same day,a tedious journey by Shatabdi express (wonder why they call it an express). Anyway got to hit Tantra at 1 am and it was rocking, got to do some people watching ;) and met a stunning 'bong girl' had a stimulating talk, bought her a drink and crashed on the bed at 3 to be up at 5 again to catch 7 am flight to Del. Didnt bother to ask her her name or contact cuz i think some things are just better to be as fond memories, though she did mention that she was planning to be in Del on 18 Jan...
Another thing, the way guys hit off women here is simply amazing, i mean i've been several places but never seen this kind of approach :)

Hope to visit there again and who knows...
