how do people from england get to kerala.

i think i found that qatar airlines go to kochi direct. have i got this right.(nope i hav'nt, i have just checked, it goes to mumbai and we have to change planes a few hour later.)

and what is the prefered way to get to kochi by other people.

there is always going to mumbai and traveling down by train but i would rather go straight to kochi realy. but i have seen the prices to mumbai and it is like seventie quid cheaper and it seems a bit more free'er you know jumping on a train in you own time like and having a look around.

air france seems cheap, are they any good?

can anyone explain the secrets to travling to kochi or have any advice please.

cheers, alex.

If you are simply staying in Kerala check out the latest charter flights. These guys fly into Trivandrum from Gatwick..

Qatar airlines certainly does fly to Cochin via Doha. We have used them for the past 3 years. You change planes at Doha and then fly straight into cochin. Emirate Airline also flies into Cochin from the U.K. Do an online search London to Cochin and you should find others - I think Jet and Kingfisher might also fly straight into Cochin.

Go to Southall Travel http://www.southalltravel.co.uk/, put in LHR to COK (Cochin - nearer the backwaters than Trivandrum (TRV)). Check out Emirates, who have just dropped their prices and offer some civilised flight timings.

Many ways to reach COK. You can fly via Dubai, Doha, Kuwait City, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Mumbai - All these are one stop from London {LHR&LGW} AI&9W would be lower fare via BOM

This is my first post in this forum, and I mean that it is my pleasure to be part of this family.

I apologize for my bad English and I would like to receive an answer in Spanish.
Let me know if you can fly with Qatar Airways directly from Trivandrum to Doha, I would like to return to Spain in this way to avoid having to fly from Trivandrum to Mumbai or Bangalore and then fly to Doha.

I appreciate your help, and I send you greetings from Spain.

Sorry, but we only do English: it is a forum rule to stick to one language. You have no need to apologise, your English is perfectly understandable. Many of our members have different first languages.

Frankly, though, isn't your best source of information on Qatar Airways routes going to be their own website?

Yes, this is possible.
On the site of Qatar you must use the name Thiruvananthapuram instead of Trivandrum

If you are just interested in flights between Trivandrum and Spain then Emirates airlines is another option.

Hola Isul,

From Madrid the only one stop options to Trivandrum are either with Qatar or Emirates. Emirates only started flying to Madrid this month. So far the fares on both airlines are still quite high, especially when comparing them with options of flying from London or Frankfurt.
