Hi KenneyJacob ,
The place looks barren unlike the green wikipedia pictures. When did you go to this place. Is it somewhere the Meenmurthy Waterfalls of Wayanad region ?

What is the best time to go to this place.
Also what are the other places nearby .

I visited Ponmudi in 2002 or 2003 as a day trip from TRV and remember it as being much more green with forests en route - Kallar falls?, and tea gardens higher up as PMV mentions. It looks most barren in your pics.

PS: How did you manage to get such large images in your post Kenney? Whenever I have tried, just 100kb images are permitted!

The place is not barren, may be its the angles that I took gives a barren image. The place is really cool even with sun at 12 Noon.

@snonymous
I hot linked those images from another site. I did not attach them. So there is not size limit. You can always upload images to www.mobshare.in and then hot link from there.
