Kerala ,should I book before leaving
Hi all.
I'm planning to go to Kerala for about a month around November. We previously spent 2 weeks there in 2014 but spent most of our time in Kochi.
Can anyone advise on the best seaside places in Kerala to chill out for a while. I know that some places are past their former glory. Given it's the start of the tourist season would it be wiser to book first or just wing it?
Also is there anything exceptional in the Munnar area
Thanks in advance.

Tianjara, seaside places I enjoyed in Kerala include Kovalem, Varkala, Kannur and Mangalore. For a chilled atmosphere I would pick either Varkala or Kannur depending on your requirements. Varkala is touristy whereas Kannur is not, ie deserted beaches etc. If you are arriving early November you could wing it otherwise prebook the popular places you want to stay. Cheers Zamba.
