Thanks. Need help on deciding how to commute between selected destinations. Taxi operators are charging me approx 13k for the entire trip.

Kerala Itinerary

Inter city trips can be done in KSRTC or private buses.

My usual grouse with a Ernakulam or Munnar itinerary is that most get down at the airport and head towards the city and then leave for munnar - not knowing the double travel in store.
I suggest go to Munnar straight from the airport and do the local cochin sightseeing while traveling back from Allepey - so basically shift day one to last day.
Sar Pass Trek , Rohtang, Munnar, Badrinath Kedarnath, Vaishnodevi, Goa, VOF, Kedarkantha, Kuari Pass, Brahmatal Trek

I think if you are coming via a car, from COK, starting early morning, then you can easily knock a day off Munnar ! Unless you are a hardcore-tea-garden buff ! And, have been invited to an afternoon event at the local club !
Use the extra day to take a municipal boat from Allepey to Kumarakom and car back.

Thanks Aarosh. Looks like all the routes have been discontinued. KSRTC online website is indicating a single bus for MNR at 0330 hrs.

Buses for Thkdy and Thkdy-Allpy are not available.

Good suggestion @Snotty & Nycank. I will modify the itinerary.

Looks like taxi operators are a gang in KL. Almost all of them have quoted the same price and it's non negotiable.

Hi,

Not sure if you are already done with trip.

There are low floor AC gov buses connecting Munaar to Cochin. Also you will get all kind of buses (gov and pvt) from Vyttilla Mobility Hub in Cochin

Alleppy is hardly 1:30 Hrs drive from cochin . Its one straight highway and buses are frequently available. Also you could take a train.
