Try looking at Wynberg Resort, Kuzhivayal Estate Thrikkaipetta, Meppadi Wayanad. www.wynberg.in.
Vanchy, the owner gave us a good tour of his 99 acre mixed crop farm. Food was very good, rooms clean and eco friendly. Vaanchy is a really nice guy and a keen photographer.

No problem - we went for 3 nights and just chilled out there. Vanchy took us to a co-operative next to his farm where they make lots of bamboo products. The staff are very friendly and helpful. If you go I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

I can second CliveG on Wynberg. We stayed there for a week during Dec 2010. Probably one of the friendliest folks I have ever met. Amongst the many little things they went out of the way to help us, a few were:

- Mrs Vanchy babysitting our 1 year old daughter during our plantation trek
- The staff collecting the microwaveable bottle container everyday for sterilizing.
- Vanchy sitting with us everyday to plan our day, and being on the phone to guide us when we got lost (and believe me, that can happen in Wayanad).
