Hi there,

Planning to do some back packing in Kerala and want to include some sort of fishing - obvoiusly want to eat the catch if we can (my buy the fish if we aren't successful)

Are we allowed to have a beach barbie ? Is there any rule on it ?

fish at cochin

when at fort cochin, you can select the fish from the various fishermen's shops lined up there. they will cook /barbeque it for you.

delicious fried prawns we had there. mussels and tunas are also aplenty.

happy gorging....

I don't think i have seen individuals starting beach fire randomly
I am talking of Goa and some beaches on the eastern coast, im not sure if the scenario is different in Kerala. Provably can ask any local cop on the beach if there will be any problem, or may be any restaurant located on the beach.
