Hi all,
We are planning a surprise Kerala for our parents (both senior citizens) for their 40th wedding anniversary. Have finally settled on one tour operator. The itinerary they suggested is as follows:

Day 1:- Cochin Arrival- Visit to Guruvayoor Overnight at Cochin
Day 2:- Visit Athirapally waterfalls. Overnight at Cochin
Day 3:- Munnar. On the way visit Kaladi asharam
Day 4:- Munnar
Day 5:- Thekkady
Day 6:- Kurakom
Day 7:- Alleppey Houseboat
Day 8:- Cochin Drop

We are really confused so as to gift this trip in July or August as it will be monsoons in Kerala.
Waiting till September maybe a late as the anniversary falls in June. We wanted to gift them the trip and give abt 15-20 to pack things.

Please advice on the rainfall and temperature and if we can go ahead with the trip in July/August.

Thanks
-Kumar.

Well July-Aug will be Peak rain season in Kerala

If rain is a big concern how about Tamil nadu. Major pars of it will be rain free this time of year. They get rain in Sept-Nov period.

Good day Kumar,

Thats a very Thoughtfull & Worthy gesture for your parents.

August MAY be better as the monsoon should hopefully start easing come Ausust.

The Itinery looks fine.
