I'm a bit confused about which one of these two "brother" hotels to book into.

Is one "better" than the other?

I plan to be in Jodhpur Oct 1-Oct 4. This includes being in town for Dussehra... which I understood is celebrated right by the hotel at the North Gate of the Sadar Market.

Generally, what I value in a room is:
  • A Great View
  • Balcony
  • A unique feel (not yet another non-descript hotel)
  • AC

(I am assuming that both have the same level of cleanliness)

Thanks

We stayed at the Haveli Inn Pal about 18 months ago. Very clean with good AC but no view or balcony. I don't know whether any of the other rooms run to these.

Whichever one you stay at don't miss having a meal at the Pal Haveli's rooftop restaurant, the Indique. Great views, food and service.

Glad I stumbled across this info. I think I booked the wrong one! I'm going to change my booking to Pal Haveli.

Haveli Inn/Pal Haveli - Jodhpur

Are these hotels owned by the same people? I think I booked the wrong one....can anyone tell me the difference between the two and if one is better than the other? Thanks.

"Pal Havali" is the "guesthouse".

Havali Inn Pal is the Hotel.

From all that I have read, the Pal Havali is the "quaint" one.

I am booked into it on Oct 6-8... will post my experience with it.

Off to Mysore today!!!

There is a hotel named Haveli Inn Pal near the market, but not another named Pal Haveli. Maybe it is new this season, but I imagine it is just confusion.

They were both very definitely there in February 2013. They share a courtyard.
