I know how hot it will be in degrees but....what is it really like during the first week of April? It is unbearable? It is humid? I've had a lot of experience with heat in India (not a fan of the heat). I can possibly switch my time to late Feb, which although I know is better weather-wise will be difficult to arrange (working around a school schedule). Do you have to hide in AC during the mid-day hours?

Where? and which year? I spent some of April this year in Delhi and it was great. Same time Bangladesh was sweltering. Basically, weather varies a lot. Just now Delhi was in the 40's and on one day it reached 47. My relations sent pleading email to send them some Socal weather. I told them my tax bracket and they said they would tough it out in Delhi. Don't worry it will get blazing hot here too and then for some reason fire season starts..

By 'Antarctica' I meant to ask you where in India you were planning to go. It can be icy freezing cold in one place and torridly hot in another in India, at the same time. If you do not care to be clearer, you will get cloudier answers.

So perhaps, start by rephrasing your initial post. And ask a good question so you will get quality answers.

Else you will get gobbledegook answers.

It is not hot in Jodhpur in April. It gets hot in mid afternoon but not unbearably so. May, June and July are the unbearable ones.

Pani Puri, I have added the words Jodhpur and April to the thread title to make it clearer.

My bad! On the main page I see the thread titles, not necessarily the forum titles

Oh it was, yes. But as VishVa said, many people don't notice what forum a thread is in when it is listed on the homepage, or in New Posts. So it helps to have as much information as possible in the title too. That's all .
