It depends on how many places you want see. Near to Ranchi town you will find :-

1. Waterfalls - Hudru, Jona and Dasam
2. Rajarappa
3. Netarhat
4. Betla

The waterfalls are approximatly 2/3 hours drive. Two them falls very near to each other i.e on Ormanji route and the other in Jamshedpur road. Rajarappa is two hours drive on Ramgarh-Bokaro road. Netarhat and Betla again will be around 4/5 hours drive.

If we skip Netarhat & Betla which are very far from Ranchi city, then are 2 days enough for all the waterfalls?

Yes..that's enough. But Rajarappa is also a very nice place. Apart from the spiritual point of view the ambience is also very charming since it is located at junction of two mighty flowing river. Its not like the typical 51 peeths which you find are overcrowded with pilgirms and more pandas.

I think the hotel will be able to provide a cab for sightseeing. We stayed in a hotel near the station and we took a car (Ambassador#super nostalgic) for our daily sightseeing.
There is also a Jagganath Temple (modeled on the Puri on) just outside Ranchi. We also liked the Ranchi Zoo.
