Kashmir trip in june

Hello ,
we are going to visit jammu kashmir in june first week. we like to start our journey from katra and visit vaishno devi and then to srinagar and rest of kashmir. can you please suggest an itinerary for 7 days and if we should book it through a agent or book it on spot. it is costing around 35000 with 3 star hotels.

It is great to know that you are visiting Kashmir for this is gonna be memory with loved ones. So, there are many a places to visit in Kashmir. I hope the following will help you:



Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar and same day it is good and better to have a shikara ride in famous Dal lake.

Day 2: It would be better to visit Gulmarg first and enjoy the snowy walks there and also you can do a Gondola ride there.

Day 3: Pahalgham is the next place to visit as it is called the land of Sheppards. You will have a lot of places to visit in Pahalgham like betaab valley currently under snow.

Day 4: Yusmarg is another great place to visit in Kashmir. It is less known but with extremely beautiful.

Day 5: You can visit Sonamarg, as the sonamarg is called the Golden place, you find this extremely beautiful and memorable. You can also do the pony ridings there .

Day 6: This day you can do the local sight seeing and visit a lot of places in Srinagar like Nishat Garden, Shalimar Garden, Shankaracharaya Temple, Hazratbal Mosque, Old city and mostly a remembering boulevard road walk with family.

Day 7: Back to onward destination.

We are planning to visit jammu and kashmir in june .Please help me with the itinerary . As of now it is as follows :

june 4 : reach jammu. Move to katra. O/N in Katra
june 5 : visit Vaishno devi temple. O/N in Katra
June 6: move to pehlagam. on the way vist patnitop , Awantipura ruins, pampore saffron fields.O/N in Pehlgam
june 7: Move to gulmarg . O/N in gulmarg.
june 8 : Move to srinagar .O/N in srinagar houseboat.
june 9 : Srinagar sightseeing .O/N in srinagar houseboat.
june 10 : move to sonmarg .O/N in srinagar.
june 11 : return.

Please advice if this covers all or anything can be added without making it hectic. As we have a kid with us.
