Kashmir trip in mid-July

Hi,

Me and my wife wish to make a trip to Kashmir in the month of July (12th-17th). We wish to travel to Gulmarg, Sonmarg and Pahalgam. I have some questions with respect to my travel:

-How crowded it is in mid-July?
-Does the Amarnath Yatra cause any problems/issues during this time interval in which we are travelling.
-Climate wise it is still summers so i hope light woolen clothes should be fine.
-Does a one day trip to each of these 3 destinations fine from Srinagar. Basically going in morning and staying back in Srinagar in evening. what's the best itenary for visiting Srinagar, Sonmarg, Gulmarg and Pahalgam with a no-rush schedule.

dear yes its summer time in july in kashmir
day trip is fine for gulmarg/sonamarg, but keep one night for pahalgam.

Stay in sonamarg and pahalgam,they are at their best in the summer. for gulmarg a day trip is ok. How many days would you be staying for ?

I will be staying there for 6N/7D. My itenary is as follows:

13th July: Reach Srinagar and take a hotel (not sure how are houseboats will be so thinking of taking a hotel preferably The Lalit Grand Palace)
14th July: One day trip to Gulmarg
15th July: One day trip to Sonmarg
16th July: Local sight seing in Srinagar
17th July: Leave Srinagar for Pahalgam. Try visiting chandanwari and betaab valley.
18th July: Visit other places in Pahalgam
19th July: Leave Pahalgam to Srinagar for onward journey.

The reason for making a day trip to Gulmarg is if i take all my baggage etc then i would need to wait for check-in to happen (must be after 12pm) which eventually be wasting a part of the day. As suggested by Sunny, i am keeping almost 2 days at Pahalgam so that i can cover things there.

Also, i am from Bangalore and want to know if my mobile will take up national roaming in all these places that i plan to visit.
