Hello,

We (2 adults and 2 kids aged 5 and 6) are hiring a car and driver for 3 weeks in Rajasthan.

We have only 2 days in Jaipur so would like any suggestions regarding best places to fit in in short time. Monkey temple is a must and after that what would you try to fit in?

Also, we need to choose between 2 hotels: the Anuraag Villa or the Hotel Arya Niwas. Which is the better of the two or is there a third option in that price range? What room Thanks

I was at the monkey temple last month Jugurtha, It seems to change a bit everytime I visit. Hardly a peaceful walk up there anymore what with all the shops that have sprung up over the past couple of years. Barbed wire now tops the ugly fence on the way down the stairs to the first pool, perhaps there had been accidents? The monkey pool was missing it's large occupant, a fat ugly fish. A couple of kids were keen to guide/pester me up there (again) & both showed off their nasty monkey bite wounds. Next time, if I go back, I might try something different - a walk up to that temple high up the hill (forget if it has a name). Enjoy your trip

I have stayed in Arya Niwas, it is a good hotel. I have also stayed in Krishna Palace, Durga Marg, Bani Park. A good family hotel worth considering too.

Perhaps you can visit the Govind Deoji Temple also.
