Hi friends,

I need an itinerary for visiting jaipur with family for a week. Could you anyone here suggest me an itinerary with places to stay (moderate budget) and good vegetarian restaraunt.

Can we include ranthambore in the itinerary.

Probable period of my journey is in december

Arya Niwas could be an option for you.

A week entirely in Jaipur could be a bit too much.

If you get bookings for the safari then considering Ranthambore makes sense.

I will second Arya Niwas. I've stayed there and found it to be very pleasant, one of my favorite hotels.

Hi

thanks for the suggestion.

where is arya niwas? i would like to visit ranthambore, but not sure of the continuity. My plan is to visit bikaner, jaisalmer also. If anyone could give me an itinerary as to where to start and how to link ranthambore would be great.

Also the places to stay at all those places , safari timings at ranthambore...

Please advice me if its easy to take a taxi for every sight seeing place or to engage a taxi for the whole trip through a travel agent. What might be the taxi cost if i engage a taxi for the whole trip from the starting point without going through any travel agent.

thanks in advance

If you are traveling for a week then stick to Bikaner, Jaisalmer and Jaipur. Including Ranthambore would be a bit too much. It would not make sense to go to Ranthambore as it seems that the tickets for safari are full.

There is a bi-weekly train from Yeshvantpur to Bikaner so you can start your trip from Bikaner followed by Jaisalmer and Jaipur. Fly back to Bangalore or take a train.

I have an itinerary suggested by a travel agent. Please help me include ranthambore and reschedule the itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Jaipur

Day 3 Jaipur to Bikaner

Day 4 Bikaner to Jaisalmer

Day 5 Jaisalmer sightseeing

Day 6 Jaisalmer to Jodhpur

Day 7 Jodhpur to Udaipur

This itinerary looks long. Need to prune it to 7 to 8 days. Wish to travel in the first week of Jan.

See if seats in safari is available during your time frame. If they are not available skip Ranthambore.

I had already suggested your possible route in the earlier post.

For Ranthambore bookings see http://fmdss.forest.rajasthan.gov.in

Are you still planning to visit all the places? You mentioned that you wanted to complete this in 7-8 days. If that is case decide which city you would skip.
