Using price graph with google flights

Google flights has this feature called price graph !

It allows one to look at various fares between a route pair. In this case a two week trip from Dallas to New Delhi.

Oh the joys of datamining

Fare Gone !

Always keep an eye on fares on google flights
The question is whether it will be honoured even if one manages to book it. BA has not been honouring their mistake fares .

I do not have any experience with Delta and i last flew Air India in 2005

PS: Are you on flyertalk? I am over there with the same username. I usually hang out in the Emirates section

I also look at google fares, but not too closely (to my detriment). Had I been more patient with my India tickets, I might have saved a bundle on business class fare for my India trip. Airlines are, however, gaming it a bit - and, at least by default, it shows the basic fares (no seat assignment, etc.). Very nice for some but just not how I travel.

Your handicap is SLC; which is a Delta Fortress ! If you are not looking for a Y/B/M upgrade, then there could be some chance, but not much !

Indeed, it is a Delta fortress, and upgrades are not frequent. Will see if anything changes next year when the diamond status becomes harder to achieve and there are fewer. But, not holding my breath.

Where i hang out is a Haryana roadways drutgamini* bus door - if you can squeeze inside it's considered an upgrade.

Hopper is an App that is worthwhile if one makes few trips a year. Not really worthwhile if your travel is handled by your enterprise's internal travel group.

The app is in simple terms a very good prediction and data driven view of your route pairs. As you can see Houston is more expensive to fly from than New York.

If you are a mileage and status junky, this is not for you, for that there not-free websites and apps

The BA thread on flyertalk probably fits your description.

The members on Emirates thread are more sensible ( though there are some nutters in there are well)

The India based airlines thread is also a goof source of info for airline related stuff like transits etc. and also the India section.
