No need to teach birds, they copy voices, sounds and words by themselves, and in the way they like.

That's correct lazybones.
Yesterday, I found a blue throated barbet in my backyard's guava tree.It was in a competition with a red-vented bulbul who was eager to feed her new kids!!

White-throated Kingfisher



I also saw quite a few Laughing doves, green bee-eaters, Pruple-rumped Sunbirds, RV Bulbuls and White-browed wagtails .

Clicked this at Hemkunt Sahib.Is it a Rose Finch? They were as common as sparrows.

New bird in our garden!

I'd thought it was a tailor bird, from its general profile, but when I opened my eyes and looked properly, I saw that it is completely different in colour. It is a Prinyia. Actually, we used to have them years ago

Mridula, I have a feeling that this bird could be a Dark-breasted Rosefinch. Common Rosefinch might not have the white/pale colored eyebrow or the line which is visible from your photograph.

Ofcourse, I am not sure!
