Thanks mridula,Your Nuptse shot is inspiring me once again.

It's a long back story...........

I have to rewind my memory track to recollect those moments first.
Well, will try to write the unforgettable golden moments of life.

Vina write write do write and dig out that pictures. If you like Nuptse maybe I should post some Kala Pathar pics here to make you write.

Rwe thank you as usual you are amazing. That was one loud and noisy bird completely without any regard for me or my camera! Any idea if #2876 is a Mandarin Duck?

Writersblock thank you, I wish I had a better zoom, I clicked it with the 18-55mm kit lens. I am wondering if I should buy one of those all purpose lens but the apprehension is that then I would not even get the landscapes.

Also which bird is this? Clicked near Lukla, Nepal at about 9000 feet of height. It was evening and not much light hence this hazy shot.

While Mridula is venturing to high altitudes I am posting for IDs of these from lower alttitudes, seen at Phooldhara , near Sumbuk , South Sikkim.

P.S: If I could post the songs ( recorded though )....those are just heavenly calls.

Just a few minutes ago I watched a 'Purple-rumped sunbird' seriously teaching certain tricks of the trade to it's newly fledged chick. The obedient student that the chick was, it watched with rapt attention all the movements of it's teacher (in this case, it's dad).

Dad with his lessons!!
