It looks like he wasn't too happy about being photographed!

Senhyd also got some very good photos at the same place.

Corbett NP... Bijrani area

This is my first post... Hi, All.

I visited Corbett Natl Park in November, 2008. We stayed in Bijrani guest house (which was simple, but clean and nice) and did both morning and evening safaris for a couple of days. We saw three tigers... our best sighting was the one we had all to ourselves. Our guide was excellent, and spotted a tiger lying about 30 yards off the side of the road. She sat there for awhile looking at us, and then got up and walked right toward us before veering off to the right and strolling down the dirt road. We had about three glorious minutes when it was just the 4 of us (well, 5, if you include the tiger) before two other jeeps pulled up. We did follow her for awhile, and were lucky enough to hear her calling for her cubs, but it just wasn't the same once so many other people were around.

I highly recommend both our driver and our guide:
