<Trust me in this place your life will be at risk if you step outside the farm after 06 in the evening ( That means the Tiger is around)>

May I ask why? Are the tigers known man-eaters?

<This place is not recommended for Singles>

May I ask why? Thanks.

Yeah, same questions I had. I won't be going alone but I won't be averse to either.

Tiger is around

Friends

It gets to lonely to go here alone as there are no Tourist at all - very few locals and its a complete forest zone, One side is Corbett and the other side is Kalagarh wild life sanctuary. The Tiger has been spotted here any where and any time even when you are approaching this place by road.
The other most important issue
You are staying right inside the sanctuary and not outside .
Staying is limited to a small farm house and the family is in cultivation of Sugar cane hardly any fence.Elephants have come many time right outside the farm house to eat sugar cane.Inside information as Corbett gets very crowded and congested so when the Tigers move out this is their first point of halt.Corbett has no fence it is well connected from Corbett to Rajaji and kalagarh is right in the middle.

No, I will have to publicise the negative ratings. You see, I don't need to listen to you and keep it to myself. Why would I do something like that. It would be so dumb, just like you . You should have seen the smiley and reacted maturedly. I already am giving you a negative rating.

alrite. cool chap. I will go there in a couple of weeks. Actually, I have to give a positive rating because the sanctuary you mention exists and exists where you say it exists and where it exists I know it will be good. Tigers are not very important to me. In Ranthambore, we got bored of tigers and left the shocked tigers in the open and drove away. They must have felt ignored. Anyway, thanks I will go to your place soon.

Anyone have a tiger expereince like this??!!!

Ok,

So when I went to India we went to the Corbett Tiger Reserve. I was hoping I would see a tiger but also told myself not to be disapointed if I didn't. Well we arrived there and right away we saw tonnes of deer and the park was beautiful and very clean. Our room was full of huge spiders but we survived.

Anyways we went on our first morning elephant ride and we start into the forested area after walking through the grasslands. We found a deer leg and blood and the elephants started going crazy, they started trumpeting and charging through the forest and I seriously had to hold on for dear life. I didn't know what was going on. Then all of a sudden the 4 elephants had surrounded a tiger!! It was so amazing, we were only 20 feet away. The tiger was crouched down growling at us for 10 to 15 minutes and it was so awesome, but then out of nowhere the tiger started charging at my elephant!! It ran so fast I didnt know what was happening, it got to about 8 to 10 feet and swiped its paw at us and then took off. It was one of the coolest moments of my life! I only wanted to see a tiger and I left with one of the best experiences of my life. After when we were walking out we saw a freshly killed deer so that is why the tiger reacted that way. Apparently that never happens. But go to Corbett and you never know!!!
