which gear you used there?
Do you hand hold the 150-600? Not sure I can do that anymore...worse is my vision for manual focus.

Superb. Superb.
Darjeeling, Kuari Pass Winter trek, Tawang-Dirang-Bomdila

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.

Right now , i have no choice other than hand holding the lens while shooting, its quite tiring to walk around with that lens , if you may invest in a tripod-gimbal head or even a monopod , it might relief your arms a bit.
Which camera-lens you use?

Bharatpur :
Next stop was Keoladeo Ghana National Park, Bharatpur . For that, we took the Bikaner -Howrah overnight train to Bharatpur for our 2 nights there. Bharatpur, can be simply termed as a paradise for bird lovers. But due to low rainfall last year, the winter visitors were lesser , no pelicans this season . Still there were lot of birds for me to watch in 2 days.

Little Grebe early morning

Surprising Face-off with a Jackal

Rudy Shelduck taking off

Spotted owl pair : enjoying the early winter morning

Pied Kingfisher locked on its target

Common Kingfisher perched on a branch

Dressing up

Splash

Tail spin

Darter

Darter Fishing

Darter landing

Spotted Owl couple

Scoops owl pair

Rudy shelduck splash of water

White brested kingfisher

Asian spoonbill

Ashy prinia

Pipit

Lesser Flameback

Basking in the sun :Monster Lizard pair

Common Kingfisher

Mating dance of the elegant sarus crane pair:

Also had chance sighting of a porcupine family on two occasions but on one occasion, my shutter was too slow and on second my camera ran out of battery . Anyways ,there is always a second time for this bird paradise.

Finally , Good night and goodbye
