we plan to visit kanha in early april. any recommendations on good acco?
also, any reviws of 'kipling camp' are welcome as that is one of the places we are strongly considering, but is quite expensive. is it worth it?

for more informations on Kanha and accomodation booking at Mukki Zone. Although Kisli zone is also good but for spotting tiger - Mukki is more famous.

Kanha safari Lodge of MPTDC is the most convenient accomodation while staying at Kanha. DB Room is @2890/- and one extra person is allowed @600/-. The plan is on AP Basis.

We stayed at Baghira Log Huts in February 2006. It's the only lodge within the park boundaries. That makes getting to the gate and then inside the park easier. As we arrived so there was a herd of deer on the track from the road. One of the other visitors followed a leopard up the same track a couple of days later. We saw a large bull gaur from the steps of our bungalow and the night we arrived there was the most amazing noise from across the meadow as the forestry elephants were molested by a tiger! The roaring and trumpeting went on for about 20 minutes.

Need I say more?

taxi fare fm jabalpur airport to kanha

hi, thanks you all again for your help.
it would be helpful to know if one can hire a cab from the jabalpur airport to kanha from the airport itself. does mp tourism have a kiosk there? approx how much should it cost and how long is the journey in terms of actual time taken?
thanks,

Kanha is the best place to experience the wildlife and natural beauty. Some recommend accommodation for Kanha like:

Singinawa Jungle Lodge
Hotel Courtyard House
Kanha Jungle Lodge
