I have some very good memories spent with my Grandfather especially when we used to go to his house in our village during our summer breaks while in school.

Thanks for watching the videos.

Tiger Crossing - Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve

First Tiger video uploaded on Discover Wild India (many more to come)

Tiger Crossing - Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve

This is a non HD video.

Description
Tiger Crossing - Tala Zone, Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, May 2008.
This was our first tiger sighting in the wild. Every tiger sighting is special so this being our first it's very very special. This was our second safari in Bandhvagarh. The first safari was without any tiger sighting (actually we saw one at a distance lying in the grass - but it can not be counted as sighting since through binoculars also we were able to see only the stripes). We were completely relying on the Guide & Driver's experience. They said this particular tigress generally crosses the road at a particular time during late evening to drink water hence we stationed our gypsy at some distance from the tigress's road crossing area. After about 20 - 25 minutes the tigress did cross the road, without even acknowledging our presence. However this sighting made our day.

Critics & comments most welcome.

Ronak, both Sloth Bear and Buffalo Videos are beautiful ..... picture quality also very nice. Buffalo video is a bit speedy, no? I mean too much camera movement!!

Thanks for watching & for the valuable feedback on videos.

Yes in the buffalo video camera movement is too much especially in the later part. Buffalo video was shot hand held (also it was my first trip with my Panasonic Lumix FZ35 camera - this was in March 2010) & most of the Sloth bear footage was shot by placing the camera on bean bag, hence the glaring difference.

Have you seen the One horned Rhino Chase - Kaziranga & Striped Hyena - Velavadar uploaded earlier ?

Keep following the channel & keep giving your valuable feedback. Thanks.
