Hi,
Planning a Corbett trip....again. Didnt get to go in April. We (10 people from Hyd) are planning to go on 7th Dec. Reading the new posts (Indiamike forums are so informative!!), seems like things have changed since the last time we were there in Feb 2012, at least booking wise-not sure for better or for worse. Would Ramesh be able to get us bookings as we are planning far in advance? Or would it be a mad rush from Nov 15th (when bookings start), and it's anybody's game? Or luck by chance?? We had wanted to get our flights booked at least, since you get good deals in advance purchase.
This is our tentative plan.
1. Day 1- fly from Hyd, take train to Ramnagar. Arrive at night and overnight in lodge.
2. Day 2- Enter Bijrani, early morning & evening safari in Bijrani area. Overnight at Malani/Bijrani.
3. Day 3- Morning safari and exit Bijrani area and enter Dhangari gate. Not sure of lunch??. Check-in at (hopefully) Khinanauli or Gairal/Dhikala. Evening safari. Overnight.
4. Day 4- Morning safari and exit CNP. Onwards to Pangot.....How much travel time??? Shortest route???
My doubts: Should we do Dhikala first or Bijrani first? Because according to my calculations, we get 3 safaris in the first area and two in the second. Our personal preference would be to get more safari time where usually more sightings are taking place.....Should we add one more night?
Thanks in advance!

If you don't mind me asking, how much was this trip, and do you have the contacts for your driver and guide? I'm interested in visiting Jim Corbett in February 2015!

Thanks so much!

To be honest I do not remember the cost but it was very reasonable. The best way to contact them is through www.tigersincorbett.com

Hi Sagnik, I do not share his phone number as the last thing any client wants is a phone going off during a safari, also there is very little signal. You are best to contact Ramesh via his website www.tigersincorbett.com. As far as accommodation and safaris etc....we leave all that to Ramesh.
