Apologies for resurrecting an old thread here.

Just wanted to check if anyone had figured out a way to secure admission into this beautiful place of Mark's (apart from going directly and trying one's luck)

And @robertocarlos,@rivaldo, are these IM lgin id's of yours named after the tuskers visiting Mark's place? (or are you anyway fans of the Brazalian sportsmen? )

I think it`s not a wise idea to just show up at someone`s private place who doesn`t feel comfortable with people just showing up. For the same reason I don`t think it`s nice to post a phone-number of somoene who obviously feels unconfortable with it. If it annoys the person so, he will just change it again and it`s not to anyone`s benefit.

I went to masinagudi during the pongal holidays and met Mr.Mark.His place was breath taking. We were able to spot good wildlife there. As discussed in previous posts he was more reserved and a great lover of nature. We went there fo rtwo days and we enjoyed it a lot.

First of all welcome to IM.
Great to know that you stayed there for two nights. So how did you manage to contact Mr. Mark first of all ? Can you throw some light for the benefit of Imers. Also if you can post a brief trip report of yours here that will be great.

Let me throw light on what we did at Mark's Place.

Dear All,
Sorry for late reply as i was out of India and had no time to post here.We stayed at a resort called Wild Haven in Masinagudi. This resort shares the compound with Marks place. The manager there gave us the contact of Mark and we spoke to him requesting him to let us in.After a brief discussion he told us to come the next day in the evening between 4PM to 6PM to see the wildlife. We obeyed all his instructions at his place he was pleased to welcome us the next day morning too.We did not get a chance to stay at his house because there was a NGC team that was shooting. The room was allotted to them.I have his contact number and i can share it with people who really respect nature.

Regards,
Santhanu.P

The wildlife that we sighted were Bison,Wild Elephants(not the regular ones you see in Mudumalai. These are huge tuskers)laughing Hyena,Wild Boar (we saw Hyena hunting Wild boar). The overall experience was really great. The possibility of sighting Tiger is there provided the stream in his compound has water. We saw a few birds which im not familiar with.the best thing i liked about the place is early morning Mr.Mark's Pet (Ronaldo - Wild Tusker) came to the balcony of the house and was having fruits.

Awesome !!
