Number of vehicles One. Agent name not necessary.

Make sure you put all information correct. Would suggest give passport details and carry passport with you as ID proof at the entry gate.

Regards.
Thank you so much, I still don't have decided an hotel yet, cause all the hotels wanted to sell package with safaries included, but for very expensive prices.
If you suggest me the best gate to go on that waterpool you suggested for seeing the tiger, I will just choose an hotel close to that gate!

Ok.. So my suggestion is book New Suite at the MTDC Resort or FDCM resort AC Rooms. and Book Moharli Gate. MTDC Is cheapest and they don DUMP the costly safaris on you.

I had already given the links to book the above things but I have messaged you all the links again. so you will get it at one place.

Regards.

The options available during the monsoon break are

1) Moharli Core zone (Tar roads only) till Panderpauni where Maya and her cubs are getting sighted
2) Moharli buffer where Wagdoh, and a Tigress with 3 cubs are getting sighted
3) Navegaon buffer zone (entry from Navegaon gate or Alijhanja gate (15 kms from Kolara)
4) Core zone from Kolara gate including Panderpauni area

HI,

Forest guest house at Kolsa and Zari gates are closed. Those gates are actually for the local people who can go to their home after safari. No idea about these gates as no tourist go there now days.

Hello, thanks for your answer. So I'll not go there next november but Moharli side as usual. Next year, maybe there will be a small guesthouse.

Ok. Good. In November you will get to see Tigers 'Head On' walking on the Gypsy Tracks. As the jungle get wet because of winter dew and Tigers dont like to get their paws wet. So they prefer to walk on the main tar roads or on Gypsy Tracks. You can get better photographs if you are Photographer

I dont think there will be any guest house at Kolsa or Zari. Those gates are remote gates in remote aria and development / construction is not at all allowed in that aria.

Tadoba Safari Information Required

Hi,

Your post about Tadoba was really helpful.

I am a very passionate wildlife lover planning a trip to Tadoba in the coming December. Last time, in Corbett, I had some mixed experience regarding guides. That's why, I don't want to take a chance this time.

Can you please help me with the information about the guide you had? I have heard about the famous Guide Vasant Sonule. Do you have his contact number?

Also, a word or two about the safari booking procedures (other than the online process) will also help me a lot.

Thanks,
Debangan

Hi Debangan,

Vasant Sonule is very senior Guide and good in English Speaking. Very polite with good Knowledge of Jungle and Animal behavior. But he gives too much knowledge of Jungle. His number is 095-790-15631. (Please call him from 10am to 11.30am or 6.30 pm to 8.30pm.) their scheduled start very early in the morning so they have to sleep early.

Subhash is another good Guide but he doesn't speak English. I always go with Subhash. His number is 080-552-57451
Subhash has two new Gypsies so he will give you Gypsy also.

But whoever Guide you take Tiger sightings are never guaranteed. Many people get annoyed if they don't get to see Tiger. They consider Tadoba as Chidiya Ghar (Zoo) though it is not. So Enjoy the Tiger Jungle. if you get to see the Tiger then it will be bonus.
All the Guides try extremely hard to get the Tiger sightings for their Guests.
All the best.

Nitin.
