My online ticket shows cnf/c8/17/nc. What it means nc? What is it really means? Is it food preference? If nc, I didn't get any food in this shatabthi. Or will I get any non veg or veg food without my own choice?
Probably the seat type. In my ticket for a day express in CC, it says CNF/Cx/xx/WS for window seat. Can't say what NC stands for though. Might stand for 'no choice' if you didn't select any berth preference.
Ils sont fous, ces Romains!
Train Ticket status
Quote:NC means, 'No Choice'. for example, during booking you have made 'Lower Berth' as berth preference, and at the time of allotment of seat it is not available, and you are allotted 'Upper Berth' then your status of Ticket will show you NC at the end, as your choice seat is not available.
