Again something that could well fit in the Indian politics thread - but train aficionados would have some some memories associated with the station and may want to share it here, without getting into politics of it!

Mughalsarai may disappear shortly!

Is the station going to called "Deendayal Upadhyaya Mrityu Sthal" or something like that? I'm sure the station code will remain MGS.

What does that have to do with the railways?
p.s. note the use of the word likely in succession in the article. Like probablity, it multiplies, not adds.

Why Trains run late...

Why Indian Rly trains run late ? Lack of investment in infrastructure. according to Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, which released their report which was tabled in the Parliament.

Augmentation of Station Line Capacity

Augmentation of Station Line Capacity
Indian train services are very popular. Apart from building more lines and platforms there seems little more that can be done to avoid delays. Like shoving water down a narrow pipe, there is not the space for more water, nor for more trains on the existing rail lines.

They could run fewer trains, those would run more on time, but somehow I don't think that would be the best solution...

Ed.
