Fi, I tried to make an internet reservation for a train 4791 or 4709 from Rewari to Bikaner. The reservation task ended by "train cancelled". Do you know what is happening around there? What the reason might be? Does it occur often?

Thanks you all, Iveta

Thank you, anorak. It helps to know the reason. You know, if somebody at the railwaystation told me, I would not believe them The bad thing is, that i cannot find any bus service.
Does anybody know?

Thank you all!

You could try going via Jaipur and onto Bikaner from there, that's still open AFAIK. Plenty of trains to Jaipur from Rewari, but not vis Ringas as that's shut as well, then there's an overnight train from Jaipur to Bikaner.

Indian bus companies so far just aren't very well-represented on the web. I don't know Rewari,* but it would generally be very unusual not to find a bus or some other form of transport on the ground. Even in some village there'll normally be a rickshaw to take you to the nearest bus station in the next town, and moreover they'll know how to find you. (If that doesn't exist, some villager will likely offer you a bullock cart ride or whatever -- besides you'd have found some way to arrive there too, right )

You can try this thread: http://www.indiamike.com/india/buses...-sites-t37979/ , but again, remember it is inconclusive, and what isn't on there doesn't necessarily not exist.

* Checking now: Hmm, at a population of 100,000+, yes, you can bet there'll be buses They don't normally book up like trains do either, just enquire on the ground as soon as you can.
