Because the same status is reflecting from last 3 days.
I am worried about this situation.
Waiting for your positive response.

Thank you.
Did you book from Delhi then change the boarding station to Mathura Jn?

Please reply, I'm very interested to know if this is what you're done.

When I check the numbers from Mathura I get pooled quota numbers, but your PNR indicates you joined the general quota waitlist, and I've never saw RAC following a pooled quota waitlist, I double checked the Delhi (general) quota to see if the numbers were the same as the Mathura quota, but they were different, so the pooled quota status for Mathura appears to be correct, I also can't find RAC in 3A or SL for the next 4 months, each time the numbers go from PQWL direct to available.

If the RAC is from the Mathura pooled quota, then it's unlikely to move to confirmed status, there's only 16 berths used for Mathura, so cancellations are unlikely to be many.

But RAC 16 (RAC 14 now) from the Delhi (general) quota will almost certainly move to confirmed status, first, the Delhi quota is allocated at least 66 berths, so more chance of cancellations and no-shows, also, any unused quota (still available = foreign 2, defence 2, HO quota at least 12) is used to reduce the general waitlist, and not the pooled quota waitlist until all the general waitlist is gone.

Thanks Steven for kind response. Actually my ticket is from Delhi but my boarding station is Mathura Jn. Yes were right.

My planning is that I will wait till tomorrow night, incase my ticket is not confirm then I will look or try in Tatkaal and then I will cancel the same ticket.
So I am not sure shall I need to wait or not?
What's your opinion, shall I wait till journey date means is there any chances to confirm or I will cancel day after tomorrow.
Any idea from last 15 days if anybody has same RAC e.g RAC14 then they got the confirm ticket?
Please suggest, your suggestion is help me to out of this situation.

Thank you.

Thanks for replying.

I'd be very surprised if your ticket didn't move to confirmed status when the reservation chart is prepared by 5pm on Monday, but there's not likely to be much movement before Sunday, only then will the last minute cancellations start.

I wouldn't try for Tatkal, I'm sure your ticket will confirm, enter your PNR number on the following PNR predictor website and look at the historical data.

http://www.trainman.in/

There's a very tiny chance you could be left with an RAC place, (though the TTE will find you your own berth at some point), but if the thought of RAC is too much, then try for a Tatkal ticket, but don't cancel your original ticket till you have a confirmed ticket, you don't need to cancel till Sunday.

Waitlist shortforms from the Indian Railways site.

See attachment.
In case you're not sure what RLWL, GNWL etc stand for.
Might be worth mentioning in the OP.
Not sure if this has been posted before.

This ticket will get confirmed, almost guaranteed, thanks mostly to the way you booked the ticket (from Delhi, change boarding point to Jaipur)

I'm not even going to look at what quota berths are left, the HO quota alone (at least 76) will be enough to confirm your ticket, then there's late cancellations.

19 x 3A carriages means RAC 45 it as close to a guaranteed confirmed berth as you can get, it's equivalent to being RAC 4 in a normal train with 2 x 3A carriages, but before the unused quotas are used to reduce the waitlist and before last minute cancellations.

Most probably it will get confirmed tomorrow or latest 4 hours before the train is scheduled to arrive at Jaipur.

The ticket was booked on the Delhi quota, so when Delhi's chart is prepared, then you'll find out.

In theory, all trains departing before 12:00 (midday) have their reservation chart prepared before 17:00/19:00 the day before, and this may well be the case, but when I've checked for 'current availability' (availability after chart preparation), I've never been able to get the numbers till 4 hours before departure, maybe this is to do with current reservation rules, but it could be that waitlist movements AS A RESULT of chart preparation aren't shown in the system till 4 hours before departure.

Another member saw you were boarding the train at Jaipur, so mentioned 4 hours before...., but as you booked on the Delhi quota, then your ticket will get confirmed when the Delhi reservation chart is prepared.

Some Delhi stations do the reservation chart (for trains that depart before 12) by 17:00, others 19:00, but it's been so long since I had to check one of my own tickets that I can't remember if the final chart positions are shown on the system from the time the chart is prepared, or 4 hours before the train departs from Delhi.

I knew it wasn't on the Jaipur quota, the RAC number was too high (4-5 carriages would need to be used, too many for a 'remote location' station), so I checked your PNR number, train booked (and paid for) from Delhi, boarding point Jaipur, I've been advising people for many years to book from a 'General' quota station, then change boarding point to take advantage of larger quotas and favourable waitlist movements when unused booking quotas are released.

Please don't worry about your ticket, I think it could even get confirmed before the reservation chart is prepared.
