There is NO Pooled Quota either in 1328 or 1334.

This berth was booked in GN Quota, as I said earlier, earmarked for Pune either in 1328 or 1334. Once the 'lone' berth got exhausted, the second passenger was placed in GNWL of the other train in which the Waiting List had already touched 61 (running serial number) and hence, the second passenger got WL.62!!

i have booked 2 berths in sleeper class of swaraj express (2472) from surat to bandra terminus for 17-10-2010. the ticket at peresent shows status as RLWL172/RLWL120 & RLWL173/RLWL121. what are the chances of the same getting confirmed.

however, about two years back, i remember my ticket which was at about 250 WL getting confirmed from surat.

Sir, I am not clear on your suggestion. Are you suggesting me to cancel the WL ticket or cancel the confirmed tkts before 2200 hrs on the previous day?

Im struggling with my tickets from canacona to LTT with 2620 MATSYAGANDA EXP.

We have confirmed tickets for 3 AC tomorrow the 7th, and Wailist 1 and 2 for the 8th in the 2 AC. We would much rather go the 8th, what are the changes??

Hi, I will be traveling from Chennai to Kanhangad in North Kerala on 13th January and returning back to Chennai on 17th January by Chennai Express (2686).
When I booked the ticket around 1 month back I had a status of WL/1 in First Class AC for my return trip, its been so many days and just 11 days left for my journey and still the status hasn't changed.
I was wondering if I should start looking for an alternate option or can anybody tell me if there are any hopes of my present ticket getting confirmed? any suggestion in this regard will be much appreciated.

berths in IAC is 10, out of which 3 berths must have been earmarked for EQ purposes.

##The chances for the confirmation of your ticket are 50:50. Also, please note the chances for cancellation of any ticket for any class in any train over Indian Railways are also very remote, because Sunday,17th, happens to be the last day of the long vacation.

##Please have a back-up plan and also note that there is no Tatkal Quota for IAC.
