No, it's not a stupid question. As far as I know, there's an X nr. of people allowed per each booking yes; probably five or so, I forget the number.

So traveling in pairs or in groups, you'd now be looking at that X (apparently ten, then) number of bookings per month, x that Z nr. of people.

(Ahem, reading back now, I said as much in my post #3 above, I thought that had been on another thread. Maybe I didn't put it very clearly.)

In one ticket you can book for 6 people maximum and in one month you can book 10 tickets online.

Ironically my train booking this morning failed with cleartrip and they are refunding. It's not because of my quota, i think my connection went down so the transaction did not complete this morning.

Apologies for resurrecting this thread; seemed like the most appropriate place for my post!

Here's an interesting question; let's say you book 10 trains and then cancel one; and then you want to book another train in the same calendar month..

Does the cancellation come off your 'total' for that month or will it still be classed as ten 'bookings' in total, even though you cancelled one of them?

##If you make 10 Bookings in a Calender Month, then you are "out".
